The Witcher Ranch has long been known for producing 150+ Boone and Crockett whitetail. This summer we recently employed a wildlife biologist who is implementing an aggressive habitat management and Quality Deer Management program to increase our deer numbers as well as overall herd quality. So far we have developed over 50 acres of food plots along the Cimarron river. This program should equate to an outstanding deer hunting experience. We strictly limit our buck harvest to a 130 inch minimum. Our management assures that you will have every opportunity to harvest a natural trophy. We have no high fences and we 100% far chase. We take pride in providing real hunts to real sportsmen. As landowners, we have a limited number of tags every year and hunter-drawn tags are also limited.

Your stay includes

four-nights all-inclusive lodging and three days hunting and use of all facilities. As part of your hunt we will process your deer.

Taxidermy is available

at an additional charge. You can apply for a 2008 tag at www.wildlife.state.co.us or 800-244-5613. The deadline for a 2008 tag drawing is early April. We encourage you to apply early. Should you draw a tag and use it at Santa Fe Trail Hunts we will reimburse your licensing expense. We are in Colorado wildlife unit 145.
